Summer Reading Volunteering 2014

Monday, June 9 –Saturday, July 26

Can I volunteer?
What do Teen Volunteers do?

Teens going into grades 7 and above can apply to
be a Teen Volunteer at the
Summer Reading Desk.

Volunteer shifts start Monday, June 9
and end Saturday, July 26, 2014.

Teen volunteers help kids and teens
get the right reading log,
register kids and teens for the
Summer Reading Program,
and (the best part!) hand out

Summer Reading prizes!

Teens must complete their own application
and return it to the Youth Services Desk by May 1, 2014.

LATE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

What happens next?

Applications will be reviewed by the volunteer coordinator.
Teens will be notified by email (or by phone if no email address is provided)

by May 9, 2014 whether or not they have been selected as a Teen Volunteer.
